G-SHOCK’s “Master of G” series are some of the toughest watches in G-SHOCK’s lineup. These “master” watches pack some of the most advanced features that G-SHOCK has to offer for those who demand a lot from their digital watches. The Rangeman is designed with rangers and rescue crews in mind, employing a super durable case, triple sensor array, and some convenient digital features for when you’re out in the field.
On the wrist, the Rangeman is 55.2mm x 53.5mm, making quite the impression. The large case houses a triple sensor that puts an altimeter, barometer/thermometer, and digital compass right on your wrist at the touch of a button. The buttons themselves are crafted from stainless steel with a textured pattern that makes them easy to activate, no matter what the conditions you’re in.
Powered by light, the solar movement also features multi-band atomic timekeeping. It’s able to sync up via radio to keep the time accurate, no matter where you are. The solar charging storage battery will run for up to 7 months without further exposure to light. Other handy features like a fully programmed calendar (good to the year 2099), 200m of water resistance, and several timing and alarm settings make for a versatile watch that can stand up to anything you can throw at it.
