VERY RARE! This unique timepiece is a vintage Bulova Medical Officer service wristwatch dated from 1943. Used for a Medical Officer (Doctors Watch) during the WWII.
It is a manual wind watch with an original Bulova movement caliber 10BA, 17 jewels, unadjusted, sweet second and Swiss made.
This watch still has the original silver/champagne dial (showing some ghost hands “radium burns”) with small second track markers on the inner sub dial every 5 seconds for split minute timing and lumed Arabic Numerals. Luminous hands as well and red sweep second hand. Also, the dial is signed with the Bulova name on top.
Cased in a 25.8x26.2mm square shape case in 10K rolled gold plated bezel and stainless-steel back.
The watch is coming on a vintage brown two-piece leather strap OR a vintage flex bracelet in 10K gold filled and stainless steel. CUSTOMER CHOICE! CHOOSE ONE!. See the photos.
After 80 years, it is still in good condition. Runs very well and keeps great time.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
